The price for a 1-year Centrifugo PRO license key depends on your organization size in terms of the number of employees (note, not only software engineers, but the total number of all company employees count):
employees 10 => 2000 EUR for the 1-year license key
< employees 50 => 3500 EUR
< employees 200 => 6000 EUR
< employees 500 => 9000 EUR
< employees 1000 => 13000 EUR
< employees 2500 => 20000 EUR
< employees 5000 => 30000 EUR
< employees 10000 => 50000 EUR
>= 10000 employees => linear price growth using 5 EUR per employee per year (and rounding down the number of employees to the nearest thousand), ex. for 12600 employees the price would be 12000 * 5 = 60000 EUR.
The model above provides a simple to understand and predictable pricing, and we think it scales fairly based on the organization size. We can also discuss a model based on some other metrics of your organization.
The license key allows running Centrifugo PRO without any limits on the number of operations, connections, or nodes. After the license key expires (in 1 year after the purchase), Centrifugo PRO continues to work forever without any limitations, though you will need a new license key if you decide to update to a version of Centrifugo PRO released after the key's expiration date.
If you use Centrifugo PRO for SAAS-like software products such that the license key remains within your company's infrastructure, you need one key. If you set up software you develop on a customer's premises, then each customer requires a separate Centrifugo PRO license key according to the pricing table above. However, in that case, it's possible to consider a more flexible scheme. You can not resell Centrifugo PRO license key, can not provide Centrifugo PRO itself as SAAS.
